Business leaders consider that their past activity slowed down slightly. Total and export order books stay high. The personal production outlook decreases anew. The general production outlook, which represents business leaders’ opinion on French industry as a whole, deteriorates more strongly.

 
The following is an unedited transcript of the news release from the National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies.


Business leaders questioned in February mention a slight decline in the industrial economic situation: the synthetic indicator decreases by one point anew. It remains nevertheless on a rather high level.

Business leaders consider that their past activity slowed down slightly. Stocks of finished products are rated inferior to the normal. Total and export order books stay high. The personal production outlook decreases anew. The general production outlook, which represents business leaders’ opinion on French industry as a whole, deteriorates more strongly.


Business leaders foresee a prices’ acceleration in the next three months.
