The EU27 external current account recorded a deficit of 19.0 billion euro in the fourth quarter of 2007, as compared with a deficit of 21.5 bn in the fourth quarter of 2006 and a deficit of 17.2 bn in the third quarter of 2007.
In the fourth quarter of 2007, the EU27 external balance of trade in services recorded a surplus of 26.0 bn euro, as compared with a surplus of 17.9 bn in the fourth quarter of 2006 and a surplus of 23.2 bn in the third quarter of 2007.
